Terry D. Tubb, M.D., Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery

Please note:  Dr. Tubb will be retiring from his current plastic surgery practice and closing his office effective June 30, 2012.  He will continue to inject Botox and Injectibles in the office of Kayla Shipp, Aesthetician at 1306 W. Dr. Terry Tubb has been in Plastic Surgery practice in Midland, Texas since 1978.   He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only Board recognized by the AMA and the American Board of Medical Specialties to certify Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Tubb has extensive experience on all surgical procedures explained on this website.  His goal is to understand the patient’s needs and communicate with the patient regarding what may be expected with the outcome of the desired surgery.  He approaches surgery with a cautious, conservative view, preferring a more natural look than the extreme “overdone” look. He received his undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University and his Medical Degree at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Tx.  He completed a General Surgery Residency at University of Georgia Affiliated Hospitals and a Plastic Surgery Residency at University of Kentucky Medical Center.  He had additional training in Atlanta with John Lewis, M.D. and in Mexico City with Dr. Fernando Monasterio Ortiz, M.D., two of the top plastic surgeons in North America.   Dr. Tubb is a Clinical Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at Texas Tech University Health Science Center of the Permian Basin.  He is a past President of Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a member of numerous Regional, National and International Plastic Surgery Societies.  He has lectured on several plastic surgery topics in Europe, Asia and Australia

 

 

Dr Tubb is a former Naval Flight Surgeon and received an Honorable Discharge as a Lt. Commander-Medical Corps-Advanced Naval Jets.
